Welcome to the SCS Training Programme Portal
Welcome to the Training Programme Portal of the UNEP/GEF South China Sea Project. This project entitled "Reversing Environmental Degradation Trends in the South China Sea and Gulf of Thailand" represents the first attempt to develop regionally co-ordinated programmes of action designed to reverse environmental degradation particularly in the area of coastal habitat degradation and loss, halt land-based pollution and address the issue of fisheries over-exploitation. The South China Sea Project Training Programme has been developed to build capacity within the South China Sea Project Partner Network to guide the long-term sustainability of South China Sea Project interventions. The purpose of this portal is to keep members of the project network informed of developments and key events of the training programme. Specifically, the portal contains information regarding the tentative dates for each training event and contact details for the individuals nominated by the project's National Technical Focal Points to participate in the regional training workshops. |
