Key Steps in the Conduct of Regional Training Courses

  • PCU and Implementing Entity Advertises the Regional Training Course and Solicits Nominations for Participants from the SCS Project Partner Network
  • Implementing Entity prepares and lets sub-contracts with consultants and other entities for the conduct of the training course
  • Implementing Entity compiles training materials for each session of the training course
  • PCU and Implementing Entity invites individuals to participate in a given regional training course
  • Implementing Entity arranges directly, or through a third party, domestic/international travel and accommodation for course participants and presenters
  • Implementing Entity makes all logistic arrangements for the conduct of the Regional Training Course 
  • Implementing Entity advises course participants and presenters of all logistics, and course requirements and arrangements
  • Implementing Entity conducts Regional Training Course
  • Implementing Entity reports to the Project Co-ordinating Unit on Regional Training Course Outcomes

Key Steps in the Conduct of National "Echo" Seminars

  • PCU and Implementing Entity Advertises the National “Echo” Seminars and Solicits Nominations for Participants from the SCS Project Partner Network
  • Implementing Entity, in consultation with the PCU, selects host organisations from the SCS Project Partner network for the Conduct of National Seminars
  • Implementing Entity, in consultation with the Host Organisation, selects a co-ordinator for the National Seminar
  • Implementing entity, in consultation with the national seminar co-ordinator, submits details regarding the national seminars and budgets to the PCU
  • National Seminar co-ordinator, in consultation with the Implementing Entity and PCU, identifies in-country members of the partner network for participation in the National Seminar and makes all logistical arrangements for the conduct of the National Seminar
  • National Seminar co-ordinator, in consultation with the Implementing Entity, work with participants for the regional training courses to develop a schedule and materials for the National Seminar
  • National Participants in the Regional Training Course and the Host Organisation convene the National Seminar
  • Implementing Entity reports to the Project Co-ordinating Unit on outcomes of the National Seminars
